Interesting. I agree that us finding a replacement in the middle of WC qualifying and the WC 2 years away is not a situation we should want. I hope he stays through the contract and then decide. England is the ultimate coaching job though.

I have very mixed feelings about Klinsmann. I liked Copa Klinsmann--consistent lineups finally (aside from injuries and suspensions) and a fair mix of old and new players. But prior to Copa I haven't been crazy about him. If he leaves, hopefully the successor will have noticed that the lineup we trotted out for most of Copa America should be preserved.
