Just struggling mightily with the no proven Qb thing. I really think our D has a chance to be good, but you cannot keep them on the field indefinitely. See Florida Gators.

If we average 27.5 ppg against Clemson and our sec schedule then I will be very pleased.  Inflated stats against Arky State, ULM and Alabama A&M are meaningless.

This is what I was thinking. PPG was the toughest category for me to decide on.  I said "under", but not by much.

I think we were around 22 ppg in SEC play last year. The OT Arkansas game really brought the average up. The Arkansas game is also the only game where we scored over 30 points in SEC play

Mississippi State-9

Georgia- 13

Bama-13

I'd probably agree with that, but season scoring averages include the entire season and I'd be very surprised if our ppg drops lower than it was last year. If it continues to drop, I would very much start putting Malzahn on the hot seat. There's no reason for an offensive coach with his performance history to have a declining offense. If we average below 27.5 ppg in 2016 with scoring on the rise across college football, I'd guess we would be near 100th in the country. We were 75th last year with 27.5 ppg. Looks like we averaged right around 23 ppg in SEC/Power5OOC games last year.

Yeah. We could average 50 against the 3 cupcakes and 10 against LSU, uga and spuat and the resulting over all average ppg would be 30.  Which would be about a skewed a stat as there could be.

You could argue almost all season stats in college football are skewed due to the variable opponents.

 

For instance White could throw 15 TDs against the cupcakes and then would only need 4 the rest of the season to go over 18.

Georgia and State...was like we didn't even try to score in those games. Like we expected points to somehow fall from the sky, and we would end up winning. Bama was not that way though.
