Bats are dead so far. Need a ninth like we had in UK last week.

Never want to bash the players but don’t know why you wouldn’t pinch hit in that scenario. Julien has been red hot and Ingram is in a big time slump batting .162; with 2 outs, and a right handed pitcher, why not bring on the left handed hitter that is in a groove? I certainly believe in thompson but sometimes his decisions to NOT do something puzzle me...

Well a game that seemed to get away but one run was not going to win it......just could not get a hit when we really needed it.. 

Some good pitching by DD and WM but no run support.   Good work by Welby to keep things in check after that gift run.

But that's baseball....and tomorrow is another day...

Its baseball.  If one loss in the regular season makes you sick, then I suggest a new sport for ya.  Bad nights and losses happen quite often in this game.
