Well he stayed every year, so I don’t either.

I imagine with the portal it will start to be bad for every team in the country. No playing time or trouble = find another team.

Despite what some think, this is something that we've talked about some over the last few years, but probably not enough. Really proud of this and Gus deserves a ton of credit.

Me and you always talks about this. WE LOVE GUS THE MAN!!! Dude is as good of a dude that you will not only find in football but just in life in general. Dude runs a squeaky clean (knock on wood like ABW said) program that is all class and built on great values and lessons for these young men to take throughout life.

WE JUST WANT HIM TO MAKE US LOVE GUS THE FOOTBALL COACH!!!! PLEASE GIVE US THE RESULTS WE SO DESPERATELY DESIRE! lol.

It's stretch, I know. But that was a dude that we were hanging championship aspirations on and his career lasted 3 1/2 games, *practically* speaking.

He might be among the top ten all time busts for Auburn football. But that’s not what we were discussing. We were discussing player retention. He could not have been retained any more.

I know.

Objection! Sustained! Withdrawn.

One more thought about JJ, since this is still being brought up elsewhere. He didn't contribute nearly in 4 years what Sean White did in 2. But we didn't "retain" Sean White and we did "retain" JJ. I'm glad we're making that really important distinction.

You should be good and loose by the time this is all done. Lol

Y'all please double check me on this.

For the purposes of this discussion players who leave early for the NFL will be counted as completing college career at AU whether they were drafted or not. Players who leave for disciplinary reasons but don't attend other colleges will be count along with transfers who left AU.

Think boxing. He’s getting walloped and needs a knockout to win this “bless your heart”  argument.

I can help you with the following:

Daniel was a highly ranked signing day pickup, but stole from his own teammates...

Mack Alexander was supposed to have been a part of a package deal with his brother.

Doninic Walker was a package deal with Tony Stevens

Khari Harding- his dad got cancer and had to transfer to Tulsa to be close to his dad.  NCAA denied his waiver of immediate eligibility.

Deon Mix and Cameron Toney we’re rarely played and graduate transfers. So they were cool.

Kam Melton and Jimmy Hutchinson I know zero about.

E came in with pure intentions and was open to looking at it my way. But my disclaimers and qualifiers were useless against the armor of others. I retreated but was pulled back into the fray. I mounted one final stand before being vanquished.

I was a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I can't find your results for 2015, E?  Not complaining.  Thanks for doing all this leg work!!  Just wondering how those numbers looked compared to 14 & 16
