Anyone else trying to get into a covid-19 vaccine trial?

My wife and I have gone through the initial phone interviews for a clinical trial in our area of upstate SC (Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson).  They setting up a clinical visit for both of us in the next week or two.

But, I may have a problem with qualifying.  I incidentally got my tetanus booster a couple of days ago (which was a little past due). And one of the rules they have is you cannot have had a vaccination - for anything - for 28 days prior to starting the trial. 

They are fine after waiting the 28 days, but if they are fully subscribed before my waiting period is up, I may get bumped.   So if you hope to enroll in a vaccine clinical trial, keep that in mind.

This is a phase III trial - a double blind study, 50/50 vaccine/placebo.  It will last 24 months.  I will provide more details after my clinical visit.
