I think my favorite part was when he was asked about QAnon:

Trump was clearly frustrated with being asked the white supremacy question. After declining at the debate two weeks ago to directly denounce it — and telling the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by,” which they took as encouragement — Trump and the White House spent 48 hours declining to more directly do so, arguing Trump’s previous answers should suffice. (Trump eventually relented during an interview with Sean Hannity two weeks ago; by that point, though, Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis overshadowed it.) Trump repeated Thursday that he denounces white supremacism.

But then, immediately, Guthrie asked Trump whether he would also denounce QAnon, which the U.S. government regards as a dangerous conspiracy theory. Trump declined. He maintained that he didn’t actually know what it was about, despite having been asked about it two months ago and saying the same thing.

Then, in almost a carbon copy of the Proud Boys comment, Trump said something that could very well be read by QAnon supporters as encouragement.

“I do know they are very much against pedophilia,” Trump said. “They fight it very hard.”

.... He feigned ignorance of and refused to denounce QAnon (even praising it for being against pedophilia) and tried to brush off his retweet concerning a crazy conspiracy theory about former president Barack Obama, Biden and Navy SEALs (don’t ask).

“I know nothing about it. That was a retweet. That was an opinion from somebody. I’ll put it out there — people can decide,” Trump said. Host Savannah Guthrie responded, “I don’t get that. You’re the president. You’re not like someone’s crazy uncle.” His niece Mary L. Trump, who wrote a bestselling book about his lying, narcissism and cruelty, humorously tweeted in response:

In other words, he is currently president but also is by any layperson’s observation irrational, petulant and utterly unfit — the proverbial “crazy uncle” whom no one wants to sit next to at the family Thanksgiving dinner. And as with white supremacists, Trump finds it impossible to reject possible supporters, no matter how aberrant and reprehensible they might be......

Lot of tactical buffoonery with the chopper shootdown. I don't believe the military tacticians are that bad. This reeks of political pressure to do a dangerous mission that would not have been conducted in this manner by the professionals. Yes I believe bin Laden is dead because I trust Rob O'neill.  But that's the only reason.  Secret muslim burial at sea was a little weird.  Doubtful that any president other than Obama would have done that.
