gravejd 3,272 Posted October 26, 2021 Share Posted October 26, 2021 I had not seen this thread yet. Apologies if i missed it. But i always enjoy trying to predict the game. I'm going, 38-32 AU with the defense stopping ol miss on the final drive to preserve the win. Defense also forces a couple turnovers that help the offense score points. The turnovers and final stop make us all feel better about a defense that gives up a LOT of yards in this game but stops them when they have to. On offense we continue to use TEs and the quick passing game to hold on to the ball and limit ol miss chances. The AU running game continues to struggle but they do enough to keep ol miss from selling out on the blitz and Tank has his best game since the opening 2 weeks of the season. War Eagle!! The defense HAS to get off the field on 3 and 4th down because they love going for it. If we can get consistent stops I’ll feel good about the game but if the game turns into a track meet then that’s probably something we don’t want. I think the key will be how Arkansas was able to keep their defense off balance. The hogs blended the run and the pass to perfection.
