How about the cumulative numbers of the years these backs played together? I'd be willing to bet Carnell and Ronnie accounted for more rushing touchdowns than any 2 Auburn backs that shared the same backfield. Although Bo was the greatest, I'd say Ronnie and Carnell are the best 1 2 punch in Auburn history.

Also, how many of those yards and touchdowns in 1985 are Bo's?

Bo and Brent were pretty damn strong. My favorite of those mentioned might be Danley and Joseph. I miss Bo Peep!

I think Bo should be excluded. There was no 1 - 2 punch. Just Bo, and then some other lucky fellow who got to mop up afterwards. Not that those guys were bad. Just that Bo by himself was that good.

Couldn't agree more, with Bo the 1-2 punch was 34 to the left & 34 to the right. Bo will always be the man to me personally, I am sure most of the auburn family would agree. Taking nothing away from CW or RB they were simply amazing.

Lionel Was my Physics Lab partner for a whole year. That will always be my favorite tandem, no offense to the others.

Can you look at total yards in addition to rushing yards? I'd just be interested to see what that did to the stats since we threw the ball to Ronnie a lot last year.

Can you imagine what Borges could have done with Bo and Fullwood in the same backfield and the additional nightmares defensive co-ordinators would have ... as if they weren't big enough all ready. Bo was fantastic. Fullwood was to me as exciting with the ball as anyone we've ever had. I liked the slashing style he had. We have indeed been fortunate with the running backs that have come through AU.

When discussing AU backfields of the past, never forget to mention Teapot Brown!
