One thing I have noticed is that other than Burton, almost all of our transfers IN have been highly productive in college. They have all played, most of them for years. I think some schools are taking mostly projects that have not been productive but have potential. Again- We are taking almost all proven players. I think about the kids that left AU. Some of them may be good, but almost all players leaving AU lack productivity on the field. Not saying it won't be an improvement eventually, but right now that 2:1 trade feels like a push. One more talented WR would push us to upgrade. Defensive front 7 this portal cycle specifically, we are losing Jeffrey M'Ba, Dylan Brooks, Powell Gordon, Desmond Tisdol, Kameron Brown and picked up McLeod. Sounds like you forgot we landed Justin Rogers, Landon Johnson, Nasili-Kite, and Elijah McAllister. All of whom are expect to contribute. Just spring portal window so far, but we lost at least 3 other WRs in the first period and picked up a WR from Cincy that their insiders weren't too concerned about losing and the TE Fairweather which seems like a great pickup. So that one is probably still a push. I think we all agree that one more top-tier WR is needed. Lots of names still out there that entered before this window closed though. Same goes for OL, TE As others have said, outside of QB the second portal window has been mostly window dressing. The addition at Jack was also impressive.
