A string of 3 ups and downs and we are now in bottom 4 with Auburn still up 4-0.  This team got run-ruled yesterday and Auburn beat them 23-0 over 2 games in fall ball.  Need to put some runs up.

St John gets a single and a sacrifice bunt, but Bri holds the ball too long before throwing to third and runner safe on the advance.  Then Widra with a 3 pitch looking strikeout to change the side.  That was savage by Widra.  She is impressive with 8ks on 61 ptches through 5 innings

Really impressed with Widra today (that same St. John’s team chased UK’s starter early on in game 1 today), hopefully we will get to see her bat later today. I like that Dean shared the love and let some inexperienced players get some swings in (particular Millie Roberts’s AB). I think it’s obviously too early to critique the bats given that it’s our first game. Hoping to get Ellis, Packer, Cox, and Denver Bryant going this weekend as well. War eagle.
