I’m not sure. He visited yesterday and told Jlee that he doesn’t have any other visits planned.

It seems like Pearl wants 2 more guys, so if you take this 2/3 option in Lawrence, you got one more spot and a probable front court of 

Chaney/Lawrence/Berman 

Jaylin/CMo/Chaney 

Broome/Cardwell/Jaylin  

it would make the most sense to me numbers wise to get a guy who can play 4/5 rather than our other wing options who are more 3/4s. I’d personally like a real third center option with our system and foul tendencies more than I think would be needed at most schools

@Tiger720Sources disagree on whether we would or wouldn't. Regardles most think if we get Lawrence then Cleveland would choose to go elsewhere because they would essentially play the same position for us.

We landed Chaney to play the 4. Agree we still need a physical big & that's why we recruited Middlebrooks but he chose NC State.

i read this morning he was ecstatic over his visit to Auburn. i think he is coming as well. We need to print up some Auburn "We Bad"T's.

If my count is right we have 7 scholarships available for this year.

1- Open

2- Wendell

3- Flan

4- Stretch

5 - Zeph

6 - Westry

7 - Traore

We have used 3 so far

1- Pettiford

2 - Chaney

3 - Denver

Looks like Tyson will be 4 and from what I have read we are looking for one more a physical 4 type. That leaves us with 2 I am assuming (Could be wrong) that Berman will get a scholarship and we will not fill the other. 

Am I correct on this?

Also are there any physical 4 types still available and if not will be leave 2 empty slots or look for best available player we can sign?

Someone talk up Lawrence for me. I can watch highlights and look at stats like anyone, but anyone got background on what the kid is good at? Does taking him push Tyson elsewhere?

Tyson looked more efficient to me, better defender, better shooter. So I know I don't have the complete picture. Can anyone help me complete it?

Bruce said last week he would take 1-2 more. The 1 being Lawrence, Tyson, or Cleveland. It's not definite we take a 2nd & hasn't really been said what type of player or position that would be.

@KansasTiger Everything offensively, especially scoring at all levels. Also a really good defensive player.

Im a big Tyson fan.  

I don't know the validity, but there has been rumblings there is/was some off the court stuff.  That may be the issue, JMO.

Bummer. Tyson looked like a great fit for CBP's system. I also think Cleveland has huge potential (NBA draft level) in the right system, can score and rebound well, and would replace some of Flanigan's athleticism.

Lawrence looks good, but not on the same level as Cleveland or Tyson from looking at stats, draft boards, online rankings, etc. I was hoping that the idea of Cleveland being the floor would pan out, but it sounds like we've chosen Lawrence at this point.

From the way insiders talked after the Lawrence visit he was blown away and they expected he would commit soon. It is Wednesday now and I can't help it I am getting a little worried. It seems like Tyson is no longer an option and it has been a while on Cleveland is it possible that by slow playing players because we were sure about Lawrence that we won't get any? 

I hope I am just being a Nervous Nancy.
