To paraphrase Tulsi:

I left he Democratic party, the one of JFK and MLK that once championed differing ideas, debate and free thinkers. That party is no longer recognizable. They are now an elitist cabal of the Biden admin, big tech, permanent Washington, congress, media and the security state driven by power. They do not allow dissent nor challenges to their narrative. They demand compliance and will smear and cancel you for speaking truth against said narrative. They've lost the ideas of freedom and are now consumed with power and fear of losing it. They demand control and your compliance.

Keep in mind, when Tulsi is talking about a party that accepts "differing ideas" she talking about wanting a party that accepts absolutely dumb s*** ideas that has no factual basis in reality.

Tulsi got pissy when the Democrats didn't back her up when she defended Assad for committing war crimes against his own people in Syria because Tulsi went to Syria, met with Assad personally and was told by Assad that he didn't commit the war crimes....which Tulsi completely and wholeheartedly believed, and went back to the US to launch a campaign of apologetics for Assad and complaining about US intervention in support of the Syrian people, and how it's actually the US and the West that were hurting Syria's people, not Assad's government.

She also completely swallowed, hook, line and sinker, Putin and Russian propaganda that Ukraine is controlled by Nazis, has secret biological weapon facilities in it that pose harm to Russia, and that Russia is just doing what it needs to to protect itself. She also says that Press freedom is no different in the US than it is in Russia, which is proof she has no idea what she's talking about.

Tulsi is an intellectual lightweight that cares more about proving the US gov is "wrong" about absolutely everything and being an 'enlightened' contrarian than she is about actual truth and facts. She's mad that Democrats operate based more on facts and that she lost favor and influence for being so easily influence by propaganda and wild conspiracies.

people may wave their hands in the air and cheer when Tulsi gives a speech about how authoritarian and lacking in free ideas Democrats supposidly are, but keep in mind they are mainly cheering for someone who has proven themselves to be a fool over and over again.

Secretary of Defense James Mattis made it very clear recently that "aid groups and others" had provided the U.S. with evidence that was insufficient to conclude that President Bashar Assad had recently used the chemical weapon Sarin against Syrian civilians. In other words, the Pentagon does not believe what has been presented to it as evidence, chiefly because of the dubious provenance of the providers.

[T]he FFM engineering sub-team cannot be certain that the cylinders at either location arrived there as a result of being dropped from an aircraft… In summary, observations at the scene of the two locations, together with subsequent analysis, suggest that there is a higher probability that both cylinders were manually placed at those two locations rather than being delivered from aircraft.

If the cylinders were put into their final positions by hand and they were photographed there while Jaysh al-Islam was still in control of the area, then suspicion would of course fall on Jaysh al-Islam—not just for putting the cylinders into position but also for staging the whole incident in a way to lay blame on the Syrian government.

U.S. Deputy Secretary of state Victoria Nuland said she feared the labs would “fall into Russian hands.”

Gabbard stated she does not believe there are bioweapons in Ukraine, but said that labs allegedly researching pathogens in an active warzone may be damaged by Russia.

And yet a couple months after this opinion editorial Mathis said this:

https://www.defense.gov/News/News-Stories/Article/Article/1493636/mattis-dunford-detail-attacks-on-syrian-chemical-arsenal/

U.S., British and French air and naval forces launched attacks against the Syrian government’s chemical weapon arsenal in retaliation for the use of such weapons on civilians, Defense Secretary James N. Mattis and Marine Corps Gen. Joe Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said at a Pentagon news conference tonight.

“As the world knows, the Syrian people have suffered terribly under the prolonged brutality of the Assad regime,” the secretary said. “On April 7, the regime decided to again defy the norms of civilized people showing callous disregard for international law by using chemical weapons to murder women, children and other innocents. We and our allies find these atrocities inexcusable.”

That was Gabbard backtracking about her original claim that the labs were US funded/operated, which was a Russian prop of ands talking point at the time.

and that ‘people’s world’ article was debunked:

Yes there is time sensitivity to comments. Not just from Mattis, but from Tulsi as they gathered more intelligence. Don't let facts get in your way. :gofig:

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard on Thursday called Syrian leader Bashar Assad a “brutal dictator.”

“He’s a brutal dictator. Just like Saddam Hussein. Just like Gadhafi in Libya,” the congresswoman from Hawaii, who’s an Iraq War veteran, told CNN’s Chris Cuomo on “Prime Time.”

“The reason that I’m so outspoken on this issue of ending these wasteful regime-change wars is because I have seen firsthand this high human cost of war and the impact that it has on my fellow brothers and sisters in uniform. I will do anything and everything that I possibly can to stop sending our men and women in uniform into harm’s way, fighting in these wasteful, counterproductive wars.”

I would not use POLITIFACT as an end all be all site. https://www.allsides.com/news-source/politifact Quite obviously they lean left and provide cover as most frequently used "fact check" sources do.

So Tulsi agrees with most of the Progs, JRE, and most of the American Public.

Soon she may be closer to the WH than many ever thought she could get.

what your original source didn’t say was the end of Mathis’s quote where he said he wasn’t saying Assad didn’t commit the crimes just that he didn’t have enough evidence to say for sure at that time.

Sir, you posted an article from peoples world.org which is literally a far-left Marxist website.

Politifact is pretty dang politically center compared to that, and also offers up the sources it uses to reach its conclusions.

Well damn. Thank you for utilizing a modicum of logic.

Excuse me, Gen Mattis certainly seems far left. My apologies.

I literally gave you the site that judges bias. Conclusion: left leaning.

Like the poll in another thread: I don't think trump or Biden are anywhere near worthy to be President.

Between these two and Bush43, they are, by far, the three dumbest people to ever sit in the WH.
Like the poll shows, 2/3s of America wishes neither would run for President.
2/3s of Both Parties and Independents do not want either to run. America wants a do-over.

trump is the biggest liar and narcissist ever and Biden is CLEARLY incompetent. Hell, the man can barely speak in public his dementia is so bad. He always embarrasses himself with his insane mumblings and off-the-course moments.

one of us has to.

Politifact does lean to the left as many fact checkers do because that's where the audience is. Not much demand from the political Right for facts or explanations of things.
