This thread is so full of chicken littles. How does this come as a surprise to anyone after what went on during this season amongst the coaches on that side of the ball? Changes were obviously gonna happen.

This is getting old.  I wish him well, but I hope no one tries to bring him back in the future.  I’ve grown weary of recycling former assistant coaches.

Trooper Taylor is tanned and rested.

Hes headed to College Station with McGriff. Theyre going to be doing some work recruiting. Both relate to players very well.

I would think that techniques between a lot of positions coaches are similar at this level and that getting talent and being able to motivate are a more significant differentiator.

of course that is just my untrained opinion. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well it appears quite a few of the position coaches aren’t real good at motivating because with a HC that’s been AOWL and focused on recruiting that placed a lot of the motivation load on the rest of the staff and we all saw lack of motivation and focus in a few games this year.  Somebody needs to step up in the coaching aspect.

We definitely seemed unmotivated during a few of the games this year.
I imagine there are lots of moving parts to that.
Definitely starts with the coaches, then the leaders.
Also helps if you are deep enough to put somebody’s butt on the bench.

The top consistent programs are going to be good on all three of those.
