Auburn's senior class has been more than just beating Alabama, however. A win today would give Auburn 39 victories since the start of the 2002 season, tying the best four-year win total in school history. Auburn is 23-2 since beating Alabama late in the 2003 season. The 21 wins the last two seasons are a school record.

This year, Auburn is 8-2 overall, 6-1 in the Southeastern Conference and is ranked No. 11. Alabama is 9-1 overall, 6-1 in the league and ranked No. 9.

Auburn has beaten Alabama four seasons in a row only twice, coach Pat Dye's run from 1986-89 and a five-year sprint from 1954-58 that included the Tigers' only national championship. Auburn's latest four-year seniors can join that select club.

The question to be answered today is: Do Auburn's seniors want a perfect winning record against Alabama as bad as Alabama's seniors DON'T want a perfect losing record against Auburn. We'll find out before sundown!
