It's a fact. And Alaska also borders Canada. She's Governor of the only state in the union which borders 2 foreign states. To think that there's absolutely nothing at Governor's level which has to do w/ foreign relations in that situation is absurd. She's got more working knowledge of foreign policy than most.

There's also this responsibility. (Hmm, responsibility, an interesting concept; has the junior Senator from Illinois or the lifelong Senator from Delaware ever really been responsible to more than 3 or 4 people on their staffs? Not counting their 'responsibility' to promise a chicken-in-every-pot to their constituents so that they can get re-elected.)
