Seems like he has been gone a while...

Is he schedualed to come home soon?

He got to visit for Christmas. He left to go back on the 6th of January. He still has not reached his unit. He is stuck at another base awaiting transport. They have about 30 days left in this deployment. Hopefully he'll be home soon.

Keep him in your prayers. He just called and said the chopper he was on yesterday to go back to his unit crashed and they think all are lost. He was pulled from the chopper minutes before takeoff so that a higher rank could get back. He is all shook up. It's very humbling when you realize you have been plucked from the jaws of death.

Unreal. I've seen it, lived it, and still....it's so sureal at times. Lord be with those who have lost, and those who have been left to drive on.

Tell your son an ole' Airborne, Signal Soldier said thank you!

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!

Last update. The boy was discharged from the Army last week. Full retirement and medical discharge. He is wanting to go to school and move on.

2 deployments and much action has worn down an old 22 yr old.

Thank you all for your support and prayers through these last 5 years.

And continue to pray for those still in. It is a tough life on these young men. And some old....
