Congrats to Pedro Martinez for getting the HOF nod. He was always one of my favorite pitchers to watch and really saved Boston after Clemens left. Thank you for helping to end the curse in '04, Pedro!!

Fenway fan hit by broken bat. If you go to a pro baseball game, major or minor league, and sit near the field pay attention to the game. Foul balls and bats do fly into the stands at a high rate of speed. These parks do not have nets separating the field from the stands on the baselines, at this time. I would not be surprised to see that changed.
