Alternative AU helmet(Beware traditionalist)

Gonna preface this pic with this:  I'm not trying to beat a dead horse into changing uniforms because I hope we don't.  I'm just interested in this from a historical perspective.  Anyway here's another I found.  Apparently they wore them again in 1980 vs Southern Miss.  That's James Brooks in the backfield wearing the no 21, not only orange, but orange tear-away version.  It's hurts my eyes.
