Is Hugh Nall still coaching?  Maybe he could be our OC

Just asking for a friend.

Didn't Rush Propst say that Hugh is the bag man for THUGA in SW GA?

I feel like being a kid in the 90’s/early 2000’s was peak time to be a wrestling fan. Was awesome.

Depends on perspective.  AEW, NJPW, and the independent scene are killing it right now.  So many options to watch.

Four Horseman,Dusty Rhodes, Magnum TA, The Road Warriors, Midnight Express, Rock n Roll Express, The Koloffs.. good times

I was a newborn in the mid eighties couldn't really enjoy it then. I have watched videos of the old matches and they were great wish I could have enjoyed it.

I tried to get back into wrestling a couple of years ago but the cringe is so bad now. Atleast with the Aittude era there were reasons for cringe now just seems like they're trying too hard and the writing absolutely sucks. Feels like they went and hired a bunch of porn writers and tried to bring them over to Wrestling.🤣

Don't equate WWE with wrestling.  It blows.

AEW on Wednesday nights.  TNT.  Its muccchhhh better.

Went to see WCW in Atlanta arena (where Thrashers used to play) back around 1999-2000. Our company at the time had a box and nobody else signed up for the event. Several of us youngsters got together and went. Catered food, free drinks, the Rock, Stone Cold, Goldberg, etc..., some knucklehead got drunk and hurled on the carpet...stellar night.

Needless to say we weren't allowed back as a group, but it was a memory for the ages.  😎

(My apologies...the Rock and Stone Cold weren't there. My memory must have inserted them. Guys like Hogan, Sting, The Total Package, Kevin Nash, Flair, the Steiner brothers, etc...were though)

Late 80’s early 90’s wrasslin…Hogan was cool, but you could watch Sgt Slaughter slaughter someone on Saturday morning while his GI Joe action figure did the same to Cobra in your living room.

I still remember the 70s on WTBS, with the audience of 50 sitting in folding chairs. Looked like someone’s basement. Dusty Rhodes and Abdullah the Butcher reigned supreme.

Do you remember the time he escaped a Cobra maximum security cell by unscrewing a wall panel with his fingernail?  Try as I might, I've never been able to replicate that move.

WDE!

Reasons why Dilly makes sense:

1. He has familiarity with the players, including Bo Nix.

2 He’s a younger guy, and has shown some recruiting acumen.

3. He always struck me as a bright guy and a good student of the game.

4. With Harsin being a little more “pro style,” bringing in a spread guy could make the offense interesting and innovative, much like Joe Brady did for Ensminger at LSU.

Reasons why he would be a bad pick:

1. Not a flashy hire, so our recruiting this year could take a slight hit.

2. He’s never been a lead play caller.

3. The other side of having different philosophies is that it could backfire with the coaches trying to join fundamentally different systems.

Excuse me, this is not about wrestling or cartoons.  I believe you have the wrong thread.

Younger guy is relative - Compared to me, he hasn't been born yet.

Bring in a spread guy? Heard this before (many times).

I'll support whoever CBH brings in (may not necessarily agree with it, but will support it).  WDE

Well... it sort of pivoted after that post. Somehow ended up dragging in cartoons too?
