Do we give 1 year or 4 year scholarships in Basketball?

I know its 4 year in football but don't know if that carries over into basketball as well.

It doesn't really matter. When your coach (regardless of the sport) says: "You're never going to play here. Hang around and help with the laundry if you want to." the guy usually leaves.

The four-year deal was/is publicity dreamed up by Dr. Gouge. It has no practical effect.
