I know there was a thread earlier about him...just seen on twitter from Reese Dismukes he officially transferred from Ole Miss and is on campus now.

Did Freeze end up releasing him? I lost track of this story.

Well he's a Tiger now. My guess is he did.

He also didn't get NCAA waiver, so he will be sitting the 2014 season.

Freeze refused to release Golson. That makes no practical difference as Golson was intending to come as a walk on and NCAA rules require him to sit a transfer year, release or not.
