Muscle Shoals barred from next seasons playoffs

An assistant coach was suspended for a year and fined $300. This,stems from contact to a Student athlete at,Wilson high school in an attempt to get him to transfer to Muscle Shoals.

We don't hear of a lot of these type of things going on at the HS level but I'm guessing it happens more than most think.

At some private schools, the recruiting is more rampant but many high schools I've seen do some recruiting at some point. I like how they named the snitch from Wilson in the paper. He won't be liked very much around here. I went to Wilson in elementary school so I'm familiar with the school. Coach

Balentine actually used to coach at Wilson. He has been in legal trouble as well.

Everybody on earth knows muscle shoals recruit. Grissom also recruited as well in the Huntsville area as far back as 99

Private schools can and do recruit to their heart's content and there is no problem with that. It's the public schools that get in trouble for recruiting. Prattville's empire came crashing down when their recruiting was uncovered a couple of years back, IIRC.
