Brian Johnson Eagles QB coach getting some buzz

Here's his bio: https://eagles.1rmg.com/bios/johnson-brian/

QB Whisperer who developed D Prescott, Kyle Trask, and others, Hurts has flourished under him. Get him a good DC, or just keep Schmed, Caddy for recruiting and lets go. I like this better than Kiffen, Freeze or Deion at first glance.

As I mentioned in another thread too, he’s also got experience beating uat on top of all that, as Utah’s QB in the 2009 Sugar Bowl. That certainly doesn’t hurt.

Those two things don't mean the same thing

Glad we've boiled it down to the most important little brother thing possible

Beating uat = bad, roger that

That stat you said is irrelevant to today. Let's get Bo Wallace then too.

Does he have any P5 HC experience? If not then hell no.

No and he is a protege of the QB whisperer Dan Mullen.

Hobby Lobby!

Just saying, we could do a lot worse than some fresh blood like Brian Johnson, and we just did with the last guy before Caddy.

Brian Johnson would be a clown hire.
There are plenty of mid-major coaches that are proven and could flourish at AU. The problem with Harsin was Harsin not his resume.

Who tho?  I don't really see anyone that is exciting out there.

We’ve gone from Kiffin being a sure thing, to hooker man Freeze, to retreads like Chip Kelly in a matter of 48 hours. Seeing as how the job has been open a month, it may be that our inbox of qualified applicants is not what we aspired it to be.

I realized when Harsin was hired that we( fans)don’t know what the hell is going on. We may not have even spoken to Kiffin or Freeze. They could be leveraging the speculation on a pay raise.

Or it’s possible Auburn and its past reputation dealing with coaches has spooked some of the potential candidates out there. It’s like we are the prettiest girl in the room, but a little too crazy for anyone to get into a relationship with.

Yeah, but the alimony is great for them after the divorce.
