Auburn gives up an unearned run in 1st. Pitt leads 1-0 after 1. Auburn showing off new unis with the orange script lettering like the baseball team on blue jerseys with bigger stripes on sleeves and pants.  Nice change.  Tresvik is starting pitcher and got a strikeout on Pitt slugger with nice change up breaking ball after a long at bat.  We got pitchers all over this team.

8-2 end of the 2nd. Embarrassing. I hope putting Rolfe in that position didn’t destroy her confidence. Bad spot to be in in your first career appearance, bad move on Dean’s part in my opinion.

Dean is clearly dedicated to using his youngsters in the circle this game.  If we end up getting lead or close to it, he may bring Lowe out or something.

I’m really getting tired of Dean’s crap, his poor decision making in the game continues to outshine all other factors. Putting Rolfe in that position as a freshman is inexcusable (I believe it’s good to get her some innings in, but not when we’re in a tie game with two runners on and nobody out, it’s dumb, that’s all it is). That Pittsburgh team was not, and is not the better team. I’m praying they turn this around so I don’t have to suffer from another mediocre softball season from Coach Dean.

We can't get the clutch hit when we need it in multiple innings.  That sounds too familiar.  Have to question the choice of pitchers early in the game, but great to see Shelby look like herself again.  Overall, very disappointing.

Agreed, it’s exhausting to watch. Didn’t understand starting Tresvik, but definitely didn’t get the move to Rolfe. Dean has to take this game on the chin, it’s on him.
