I just read Melick's article and a few things stuck out to me as amusing

Saban may not have gone over the ground rules for what Caldwell can and can't write about, but there's a good chance he personally approved the concept, if not demand complete editorial control.

"Look, I know I can't push the boundaries too much," Caldwell said.

Then, after a nervous pause, he added, "I hope he won't do anything."

You can just tell how utterly scared the players are of Saban. He really does put the fear of god into many of them.

So how did the man affectionately referred to as "The Nicktator" by some members of the Fourth Estate (OK, just me) react to one of his players crossing over to the dark side?

"Uh, I don't know," Caldwell said. "I haven't talked to him about it. I'm sure when it gets close to starting (fall) camp, he might mention something about it."
