Mozilla Firefox

Recommended Posts

Wow...first a disclaimer: I am a developer who swears by microsoft products. Absolutley LOVE microsoft. But I am trying to keep my options open for new technology. And let me tell you, this Firefox Mozilla browser is GREAT! Built in popup blocking, TABBED WINDOWS...its kicks arse! I know I know...Numa is grinning his ass off right now reading this. But I'm still gonna be a MS developer :)

I downloaded it because I wanted to see how the web pages I create look on other browsers...its a great tool.

I've used it on my Mac a little. It's a nice browser. I still prefer Apple's Safari browser, but if I wasn't using it, I'd use Firefox. I don't like Internet Explorer. But then again, I'm anti-Microsoft almost across the board and welcome anyone who can take them down a peg or two and give them some real competition. :P

The only thing that I've seen as far as compatibility with Mozilla web browsers is, I'm guessing, dynamic html. For instance, the hover-over drop down menus on AL.com's homepage. I've yet to see those work in a Mozilla product. But other than that, it's good stuff.

Okay, I just started using it today and I like it. I like the Thunderbird e-mail program and how it creates different folders for each account. I also like how it imports all my old e-mail from Outlook. What I really liked about Firefox was how it automatically imported my bookmarks.
