"AUBURN, Alabama -- Auburn defensive end Corey Lemonier and tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen have popped up on another watch list for a top post-season award.

Lemonier and Lutzenkirchen were named Monday to the watch list for the Lombardi Award, which goes to the nation's top college lineman or linebacker. Lemonier and Lutzenkirchen are both on the coaches' preseason All-SEC team, as well.

It's a familiar spot for the two. Lemonier is also on the watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which goes to the nation's top defensive player. Lemonier had 47 tackles, including 13 1/2 tackles for a loss last season. That included 9 1/2 sacks.

Lutzenkirchen is also on the watch list for John Mackey Award, which goes to the nation's best tight end. He was Auburn's third leading receiver last year with 24 catches for 238 yards and seven touchdowns. He has 44 catches and 14 touchdown receptions in his career. "

I expect his receptions to go up with Prosch available to do some of the blocking that he had to do last year. And I heard somewhere on here that he (Loeffler) has a "Get lutzie the ball" play package.

I may have missed it but do we have final word on Prosch's eligibility this year? For months, talk has been his transfer w/out sitting out a year is guaranteed. Just wondering.
