What I learned from the game yesterday...

1) Even with Hunter and Fletch having an offday we have guys who can step up and bring runs home. USC was basically giving Hunter nothing to hit and did an excellent job of shutting down one of the SEC's best hitters but we did a good job of staying disciplined and getting our points where we could. A lot of guys had really good/patient at bats.

2) We have a good crowd, a USC fan even noted behind me that "damn, they'll get after you here!" in reference to the crowd reaction after a bad call.

3) Our starting pitching is solid, it looks like our bullpen is the weak point though...

4) If you haven't made it to a game... Do it. They're a good time if you like baseball.

I agree completely! We have a lot of potential and if we can somehow put everything together we will be very successful. Saturday we had no clutch hitting but excellent pitching. If we can give our pitchers the run support we can take 2 of 3 of most series

We honestly need to get as many Auburn Eagle members together as we can for the LSU games and all sit together in the "student section".
