Nice pics - Loved thinking that AU has an influence even there. I wish my sons (plural) and daughter could have seen this while deployed there.

I saw this stadium a couple of days ago.  It's on Al Asad Airbase in Western Iraq.  I saw it from a distance, and I thought maybe it was the same one.  I'm glad I saw this thread a few weeks ago, or I wouldn't have even noticed.

My boyfriend is a marine and was in Iraq in 2006-2007. He has a picture with this very same stadium!
