I can track and idiot, particularly when you serve it up on a platter as you do daily.

You waste all this time getting your brains beat in because you fall for a CNN fallacy that there was something racist about Trumps comments. There wasn't. Good grief.

You have the mental midget thing down pat.

As I’ve said, whether you believe it was racist or not, by any standard I suspect most of us grew up with it was an incredibly petty, nasty attack on an American city that is home to many Americans, including veterans, law enforcement, teachers, first responders, children all hearing their President say no human would choose to live where they live. I dare say 20 years ago all of us here would have agreed that was grossly inappropriate for any President regardless of party. Now a large group of us feel the need to defend it and everything else this President does that no one would have excused when we were growing up— I don’t know anyone raised to think this was acceptable, but now folks turn a blind eye and excuse it because you hate the other side so much? This has nothing to do with policy or liking Democrats— we used to at least agree on basic decency, despite whatever else we differed on.

Baltimore is very bad. But I don’t blame that on the representative. I don’t blame Trump either. In a country this large, there are going to be good and bad places. That’s just normal. If he’s concerned about the conditions, maybe  Trump should quit using the misfortunes of the people of Baltimore as a talking point to attack EC and reach out to Cummings and the people of his district and try to help turn things around. You know....be a productive  leader.

Lets not forget that poverty doesn’t discriminate on what political side represents what district. We as people familiar with Alabama should know that.

The fact that you feel the need to reflexively "defend" the "undefensable" is your problem; not Trump's or mine.    And any party that defends those responsible for creating this mess has lost the plot.  In the last 6 months; you and your party; have defended murdering live born children, defended openly racist government officials, declared that men can have abortions too, declared that illegals have more rights to benefits; US taxpayer $$;  than US citizens do and openly advocated for socialism.  You have lost your friggin minds.

Trump has an uncanny ability to get you to reveal who and what your policies really stand for.  Democrats have ruled for the entire decline of America's urban centers ... you guys have been in charge of the top 10 most violent places in America for longer than the Castros lead Cuba, longer than Stalin lead the Soviet Union, longer than the Kims lead North Korea and for longer than slavery was legal in the US.  Own it.  Look in the mirror and see the enemy.

Can you please show me when/where you think I did the following?

I’m an independent. No one else speaks for me. I’m frustrated with both parties and wish we had a strong, moderate third party option for folks interested in reasonable solutions to our problems, including the debt and with a strong anti-corruption platform. I actually identify more with many Republicans who are concerned about Trump’s excesses. While you may be inclined to dismiss that, stick to the facts and link to me doing what you just strongly accused me of doing.

I agree with you that Baltimore is bad. Only been there twice, but didn't feel very safe walking  along their streets. Lots of homeless people, panhandlers and people approaching you for $.  Several of us were sitting in the hotel near the front and a  person walked in from the street asking us for  money.

we are for women having  rights to their own body and not murdering children. they have a morning after pill which pretty much stops abortion in its tracks. but i am pretty sure those on the right fight this as well as condoms and birth control because if they all worked the repukes would have nothing to stir the masses up/ genius almost. give people the means to stop abortion and then fire up the churches saying birth control encourages unlawful sex. if everyone was honest we would probably not even have an abortion issue because they would mostly be gone. i know it would sure slow them down.

So you agree that Baltimore has been systematically looted and turned into a ****hole by Democrat policies, politicians and the public servants that were supposed to serve the interests of it's citizens ... you just don't like the way Trump said it?

DT is actually late to the party on the problems in Baltimore.....been investigative stories for a couple years on the rats, filth, bad school performances....and more ….and only now are those responsible for the mess offended because DT raised the issue ?   NPR    .    https://www.npr.org/2017/09/14/549517480/-rat-film-superb-formally-ambitious-documentary-smells-a-rat-and-it-is-us

I haven’t studied it enough to issue a definitive critique, but I would assume there’s a history of poor local management. Interestingly, Trump blamed a congressman for it, suggesting it’s a federal issue. Of course, he did that after that Congressman subpoenaed javanka’s emails.

Could be wrong, but I think it was retaliation for Cummings saying detainees at the border were sleeping in feces which was a lie. Trump then told him to clean up his own city.

He said that, but he also said he should spend time on Baltimore and not oversight.

Maybe POTUS should look into his own family as a start with helping Baltimore.

I missed the part on not spending time on oversight, if he even said that, but he definitely needs to do more for Baltimore.

So we agree there’s a federal role?

Do you have anything concrete in mind about what Congress should do for Baltimore? Republicans generally think these are state and local issues, but I’m open to a larger federal role if you have suggestions.

You certain it's just Republicans? As video's have shown, some of his constituents seem to have issues with him. Not sure they are Republicans. Regardless, do you feel he has addressed their concerns?

You keep saying he should do more, but won’t say what. Why is it so hard for you to list concrete things he should do that he hasn’t? If you can’t do that, then what is your complaint?

Seems I have the same complaints his constituents do. But you give him a pass. Why?
