Cam Newton was a BIG QB at  6'6" 238  at 21 years old.

Bo nix 6'3" 213 at 20 years old

Hank is 6'2" 195 at 18 years old.    

 

Hank could definitely use some weight,  but 15  pounds in a year or two  should be no problem on that frame.

 

edit:  the more I read up on this kid,  the more I like him.

6'4" 190 is thin but weight can be added.  He uses his feet to avoid being sacked and buying time to throw not to run and expose his body.  He would be a nice pickup.  If Freeze is able to improve O-line through portal Geriner and a healthy Ashford could be  good QB's with the right offense and QB coaching if we can't pickup a starting portal QB.

BTW,to all the people up in arms about us not getting Mcall... He was a solid 2* coming out of high school. Just sayin....I know it's hard to do cause we been burned by Gustav and Harsin, but gotta trust Danny Hugh's eye on talent evaluation at QB

I agree. Coach Thornton recruited him at Ole Miss. Then Thornton comes to Auburn and the kid takes a visit here and decommits from Ole Miss. Its between us and Mississippi State but I think we are totally in the drivers seat to get him.

Not at this time but there is hope that a few more will enter the portal. 
IMO the Leary news is not the one that hurts; it it he McCall news that really hurt us. We had everything lined up.
