I personally would like to see a simplified, retro, look to our color scheme. Go back to solid blue jerseys with no shoulder numbers and classic numbering/lettering font. I think the helmets should keep their same look but do away with the white strip seperating the orange and blue across the top of the helmet and put numbers where the logo is now. I know some people may think this is heresy but I don't like logos on anything except fan wear. An Auburn uniform should be iconic enought to be recognized without the logo on the helmet. I'd go as far to say that Oregon's uniforms have as much to do with them attracting recruits as their style of play does. There's a reason that kids from Texas, Georgia, and Florida go to a school in the Pacific Northwest and it ain't for the seafood. Quite a few sources have ranked Auburn's uniforms among the best looking for years. A better question would be.....is it more important for other people to like Auburn's uniforms than it is for Auburn fans? I dont really give a damn what other people think of Auburn's uniforms. I hate Floridas blue pants...they suck and I could not possibly care less what Wisconsin does. I believe this thread is about uniforms if Im not mistaken. That does not mean changing the team colors...
