Is it just me? Serious question...

His last two sentences showed his real purpose:

He answered his own "questions." Up until that point, I didn't have any problem with the "questions" he was posing.

Here's a "question", do you have any problem with what President Obama did in swapping 5 Afghan prisoners for the U.S. soldier?

Really? You need an answer on that? Isn't it abundantly clear that when it comes to the O-crowd, that Tex sees no evil, hears no evil and speaks no evil?

I haven't formed a solid opinion yet, but I think it is something one can reasonably take issue with.

We should tell mexico they got 24 hours before we start bombin the hell out of em. Kerry aint goin to mexico. He aint gonna help no real soldiers. Hed help a desserter or protester but he aint helpin no real soldier. All them libtard dimocraps hate this country.

Rather than admit to the extraordinary incompetence and epic failures which are becoming the hallmarks of this administration acting like an imbecile is so fitting for a guy who has gone out of his way to defend every misstep along the way.

You will never come to the realization that refusing to participate in the latest Obama bash thread or all liberals are idiots hell bent on destroying the country thread is not the same as supporting either.

I will never see the wisdom in acting like an idiot rather than accepting the obvious reality that this administration is utterly incompetent and an epic failure on any metric you wish to discuss. That is unless you can relate one success story. Can you? I mean yaboy has had 6 years of hope and change and the most transparency of any administration in history. help me out...what success can you bring to my attention? His economic policies and job creation? His foreign policy accomplishments? Hey, I got one. he and Eric Holder did release over 36,000 illegal alien criminals, murderers, rapists, etc and today he demanded $1.2 billion dollars to take care of 60K illegals they're busing in from Guatemala..thats good, right? I am amazed by your intransigent insistence on defending the indefensible.

Guess again. I was simply making the point that this is not strictly a partisan frustration. More and more democrats are increasingly more frustrated by a WH that simply refuses to obey the law. It is what it is, yet people like you remain steadfast in their unwillingness to accept that reality.

Heres a news bulletin bro. Everybody lives in a world of their own making. I didn't ignore you. In your usual snide form, you "guessed" that I like Feinstein now because she had formed a solid opinion, something you were unable to do. My post addressed your guess and pointed out the error in your assumption. Got it?

Irony and sarcasm often evades the simple minded. I didn't assume you liked Feinstein-- just found it ironic that you were citing her as an example. I'm not a fan of Feinstein. She tends to grandstand, IMO. I may yet form a solid opinion on this topic, but there is no compelling need for me to do so at this time-- I'd like to see what other facts may surface. But I made it clear I don't fault someone for taking issue with it based on the known facts. Of course, then there's folks like you that immediately are outraged because "Obama did it" and then look for facts to support it.

Republicans are almost uniformly criticizing President Obama’s decision to swap five Taliban fighters at Guantanamo Bay for the release of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the only American held hostage in Afghanistan. But many of the administration’s loudest critics have previously demanded that it do more to bring Bergdahl to safety. Since his release, these lawmakers are emphasizing their criticism of Obama’s handling of the prisoner exchange while downplaying the successful return of an American servicemember.

"Immediately outraged" huh? Your convenient characterizations of my positions are pretty funny. It saddens me that this country has digressed to a point that we have a gaggle of completely incompetent self serving boobs in charge. They were duly elected, however, so, in that context we're getting exactly what we deserve and that, my dear socialist friend, saddens me deeply. Outrage never even occurred to me but spin it any way that works best for you, that's what you progressives are best known for doing.

If you were paying the least bit of attention, I believe you'd realize that the heart burn is over yaboy breaking yet another law that HE authorized with his signature. Defending a law breaker is an interesting conundrum especially given that law breaker, in this case, is the chief law enforcement officer of the United States. Where does it all end? It is a troubling trend, indeed, that he and Holder both have set with specific regard to ignoring their oath of office and the Constitution.

Is it right wing propaganda that yaboys barry and eric have repeatedly broken the law? That's right wing rhetoric? I believe you're the one, little buddy, who has lost touch with reality. You passionately defended barry's deal with Iran...how's that working out? You passionately argued that American exceptionalism doesn't exist and that the thousands year old mess in the middle east is America's fault. Your positions have consistently reflected a willful detachment from reality and the icing on the cake is you peddling the idea that those criticizing your beloved obama are only doing so because they are out of touch with reality. That is incredibly ironic and down right funny, I dont care who you are!

You and the author are conveniently leaving out very important details:

The outspoken critics had a change of heart after learning of Bergdahl's antics. i.e. desertion, Facebook posts, emails, etc.

The five prisoners released were among the top leaders in captivity. Not just 5 regular Joe's.

That is just a few. But I ask you, do you think this negotiation should be celebrated?
