If we had a good solid Qb, we would have blown them out. I hope Gus doesn't add to his misses at Qb. (Frazier, JJ)

What we kept saying the entire game. Didnt even need a spectacular QB today. Just one who can get the job done.

Did Johnson drop 6 passes? Did Johnson miss tackles on Henry or allow those 2 big pass plays?

Johnson didn't play perfectly, but it baffles me how some of you can try to put this loss completely on him.

The offense lost it. The QB is the leader of the offense. Its well deserved criticism. If he doesn't rifle the option to KJ he scores in the first qtr. If he throws to the back of the endzone, Louis scores. If he hits Steven, Ray, or any of the others on the many 3rd down plays, we sustain drives and give the D a much needed rest. And before you say it is the OC and the play calling, realize that the plays were there...JJ didn't execute. No one else missed wide open receivers or throw 3-4 yards behind them. Those are some of the reasons he is being blamed.

Is it all in him? No. Counters should've picked it and scored. We should've sacked Coker and they wouldn't have had the long TD...that said, games aren't won or loss due to missed sacked and missed Ints. The D did more than enough to win this game.

Bird what was our biggest issue? Defense played well enough I thought

As if it weren't obvious enough you could not figure it out. LOL.

Would be a different story if we could've hit some of the open receivers. Of course I'm also assuming we would catch the ball as well. We've got a long way to go on offense. The defense has made huge strides. Also, I think the SEC is weak and bama is a just above average football team. Someone in the playoff will make Coker win the game. I'm not sure he can.

Would have been much different if holding were a penalty. uh.......

Great effort. Shocking lack of play makers in our offense after 3 years under Gus. Any, I mean any play making ability outside of a dazzling play by Jason smith and we win the game. Period. How we got in this position baffles me.

C'mon AU people...the guy is a stud and has pretty much done this to everyone they played.....give him credit...carried the ball more than 40 times and just wore out our defense.

What we gave bama was the opportunity to run whatever offense they wanted to run.....knowing that AU's offense was no threat other than the fluke TD by Smith.

Time to do some soul searching on offense. War Eagle.

It's a team loss, no aspect of the game was without fault. They played hard, until the last 60 seconds.

We didn't cross the fifty one time in the second half except for Jason Smith's great play. You can repeat all of the platitudes you want, but the fact remains that our offense was the problem this year.

Really shouldn't have to spell it out like that at this point in the year. Defense put us in position to win games much more than the offense did.

War Eagle.

Spot on, Bird.

Damn good effort in a lot of men. Our tail was on the line and they did not lay down.

AND....

BOOM, Will Damn Muschamp...WAR DAMN EAGLE....LOVE the fire....put some bone in those backs...War Damn. Helluva turn around on some defense this year, no segment perfect, vast improvements....more work ahead, but it is going in the right direci

I love Will too. His passion is intoxicating and addictive.

A respectable game. We had to play perfect to win; obviously, we did neither. But at least it wasn't a recruiting disaster.

Heard one sideline announcer (Auburn radio) say it was the best atmosphere he'd ever seen (this was 3rd quarter). That's got to be a good thing.

I hate that we lost. I hate that we blew so many opportunities. I love that the world saw that calling fouls in a bama game works differently than for any other team.

But I love that our guys fought hard all the way to the end and we had chances to do big things.

Oh well..

Go Florida.

Go Clemson.

Go... whoever plays Alabama from here on out.

War Eagle anyway.

That's great to hear, and I agree!

he said it was execution which is always an issue when you don't win?? I thought it was mostly QB play. What did the Miss's think? Lmao

When y'all consult with Gus and Rhett y'all let him know how to fix it.

Take away the miracle tipped ball TD...and passing was 40 percent completions for 95 yards. Pretty much sums it up. Can't beat Vandy with numbers like that on a regular basis. We had a drop or two, but either qb play alone or qb and line play combined lost this game. Defense played well enough to win. Passing game was horrendously atrocious. With simply a 60 percent passing game we likely win.

With an average QB; average; we win 9 games at least this year. We have the #10 offense in the SEC...our QB yards is not even in the top 14 of QB's...there are backup QB's with more yards than our starter. We have on receiver in the top 50 SEC receivers. Frankly, I don't know what bowl practice is going to do for us. Maybe SW gets well and can do something...but otherwise...I don't see how the current offensive personnel improves.

Henry is good but the (drafting of) olinemen won him the heisman. The online is really good and they are young in some spots upfront.

close. a good offensive line goes a long long way.

we still had chances on defense. stopped them when we needed to. held when we expected to break for the most part. (not counting that last run)

Defense played well enough. Some sacks would have changed it. Some turnovers missed but ... we just did not make the plays to win...they did.

story of the season.
