Halftime. AU defense has held out well but the turnovers in midfield are going to cost hem if they don't take better care of the ball. UF has been enjoying a lot of possession but hasn't seen the goal yet. 1-0 AU

3' in to the half and AU has had much better success on the ball. Ramsier has a shot in the box blocked and later she sends in a long looping cross that almost finds the net but the UF keeper gets a finger on it to send it wide.

10' into the half and UF has had more possession and had a couple of chances that haven't come to fruition. Seems like they are really angling to draw fouls and get free kicks and it's starting to work. AU must be disciplined and not give into the frustration UF is trying to draw out from them.

Did some get in behind the defense on a deflection and she's caught from behind and taken down in the box by the last defender. That's a red card for UF and a PK for AU!

Folds takes it just to the keeper's right and it's IN! 2-0 AU 29' to go. UF is down a man.

Didn't take long for UF to respond though. Defense gets lax as UF moves the ball across the top of the box and UF turns and scores in to the right side. Game on  

2-1 AU 27' left.

16' to go and UF rips in a free kick from the left and UF gets a head on it. It goes just wide.

14' to go and Brooke Ramsier is down after taking an elbow to the face. No foul given.

12' to go and UF gets close with an early cross that almost finds a head toward goal but it just got past.

8' to go and AU still hanging on. You wouldn't know UF was down a man with all the possession. AU content to punt out everything and not keep the ball.

SAVE! UF gets a chance from the spot on a nice turn by UF but Le Beau at full stretch keeps it out and defense clears.

WOW GOAL! That might do it. From 45 yards out Dodson sees the keeper is well off her line so she lifts one over the keepers head into the net!

3-1 AU 5' to go

4' to go and Dodson is taken down hard at midfield. She stays down as she landed hard on her right shoulder.

Dodson is helped off and she's not moving that arm. Hope she's able to recover soon.

2' and UF isn't giving in at all. They send a ball across the front of the GOAL but can't find someone to put it home.

Full time! AU move to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history with a gritty 3-1 win over UF.

Dodson got the better of their keeper just like the last game by scoring the long goal.  That's awesome.  Just amazing to think that Auburn had not beaten Florida on their field before this year, and now have beaten them twice this year with excellent defense and opportunistic offense.  3 goals scored in each game.  Just great effort.  Special team.
