Good point. I’ve posted numerous times over the last few years and none of us AU fans really has to look any farther than the PTB. I mean come on, argue that they give millions or whatever, but doesn’t that happen at every major school. The difference is, the big money donors for AU think they need to run the show because of the amount they donate. Are Bama and UGA not the same way? Yes, they are, but the money people give, but just don’t base their donations on trying to control everything. AU is a current laughingstock and has been forever, because of the severe dysfunction. Really doesn’t matter who the HC is, because of the infighting and diss array. I love AU, but I just don’t see any changes ever happening. Thankfully, BP was locked up, because that’s the best decision ever made.

For the record I still have hope we can win THIS YEAR. I think an ‘us against the world’ mentality can be very dangerous, and I think the guys that are left will be galvanized to play better than their best. September is going to be so crucial. Five games at home to build momentum. 

That month may very well determine Harsin’s future. If we go 5-0, we’ll have a ton of momentum to win a few games down the stretch that we shouldn’t. If we are 3-2 or worse, we likely lose a few down the stretch that we shouldn’t. 8 wins might be enough to convince recruits things are headed in the right direction. 

Time will tell. There’s still hope.

Well it seems like the next recruiting class has promise. I’ve been said this is the long game.

A young athlete would be out of his mind to commit right now tbh. CBH HAS to win games first. Show that his culture actually works. If he does that, things will look up. I will say the one thing that keeps me hopeful was that we were competitive in every game (except UGA) and even CBH biggest detractors never questioned his coaching acumen. The things he has to work on are very fixable. It’s not like Gus who clearly does not have the Xs and Os.

Explain why Mason gave a speech to the team saying he was leaving for personal reasons. Why would Harsin allow that or want that to happen if he fired him? Did Bobo tell the team he was voluntarily walking away too?

It’s true not everything is negative but it’s also true not everything is positive. There is NO WAY CBH pushed Mason out. Stop pushing that BS.
