It's here again ladies and gents! Coach Hugh Freeze has arrived on The Plains ready to revive Auburn Football from the doldrums. Tomorrow begins a new day, a new era. It's time to lock the gate and see what happens. 

Let's lift up these young men! It is once again time for some doting of each and every one of our man crushes. Last year was last year. As members of AUF, we can do better; we should do much better! Let the infatuation begin!

 

For those who don't know, the gist of this thread is for you to select a football player/coach that you will follow throughout the season, and HOPEFULLY, post something about your "Man Crush" as often as possible, touting stats and achievements, contributions. In other words, after a game, start some banter about your guy and support him relentlessly. Feel free to brag about your dude anywhere and everywhere. Hell, shout it from the rooftops.

Man Crush Rules:

1. Man crush must be a member of the team or coaching staff 

2. You can only have 1 man crush

3. You must stick with your dude all season (unless he is kicked off team/academically ineligible/etc.). If your dude gets injured or temporarily suspended, you gotta stick by him through the tough times.

4. To the best of the best, the Top 3 starry-eyed "man crushers" have earned priority status. The list is subject to change from year to year. So support your dude! This year @abw0004 , @AUBwins, and @toddc earned the honor.

5. first come, first served for the rest of y'all

6. You can't be crushing on someone else's man.

Every year I try to choose someone who I think best represents Auburn in my mind, or someone who has faced a lot of adversity.  This year I had chosen Damari Alston!  The way he has become a wonderful ambassador for Auburn is something to marvel at.  Let's get it Damari!

I believe Payton Thorne is the cog we need to get the engine of CHF’s offense going full speed. The long ball will be important for the running game as it gets dbs out from the box. If defenders can’t stack the box the running lanes will open up for our running backs.

Since I can’t have Hunter I’m going off the beaten path…

Connor Lew will be our next Pugh/Dismukes. I think he’ll be starter by mid season at guard before moving to center when Jones departs.

Totally going with my heart here. I’m picking my hometown guy, #90, Enyce Sledge. He and my youngest son graduated in the same class. He also endured the horrors of the Hankins disaster and stuck around.
