Are evangelicals the least Christian among us?

In the liberal mind yes to your question.  Per fact number 4 Christians feel Trump stands more so for their beliefs so could care less.

If Christ returned and gave the sermon on the mount, how do you think Trump and his supporters would respond?

What’s interesting is Pew Research has nothing about Christian views of Joe Biden.

https://www.pewresearch.org/search/facts+about+religion+and+American+views+of+Joe+Bi

Typical left leaning political commentary.

I would be willing to bet American’s views about Biden’s religious convictions does not sit well with Christians even though he is a self discribed practicing Catholic.  I guess we will never know.

Alas, one must know how to use the internet:

Ah, it seems this would have been a better topic, but this wouldn’t be as damning for Christians or Trump.

From the article:

Majorities of Black Protestants (66%), Jews (62%) and atheists (59%) rate Biden favorably. White evangelical Protestants (14%) are less likely than the other religious groups in this analysis to express a positive view of the current president.

The opposite pattern plays out in views of Trump. White evangelical Protestants (67%) are the most likely to hold favorable views of Trump, while far fewer Black Protestants (17%) and Jews (21%) take this stance. And 25% of religiously unaffiliated adults, including just 12% of atheists, view Trump favorably.

So Pew Research subsequently drills down to White evangelist as a dump on Trump.

It’s very telling they break in down as Black Protestants v White evangelist.  Race baiting anyone?  This is really sad.  Thanks for posting that article, it explains a lot.

No, but I trust him much more than the human windsock we have as president right now.

Which beliefs are those? The man isn't even pro-life.

Doubtless because he is such a good representative for those beliefs. ;)

How would anyone respond Tex. I don’t know and neither do you. Trump and supporters would not be a select crowd for the sermon.

You will have to ask pew to a bit more specific next time.

Not the question of how representative he is.

See fact #4. Not a matter of the kind of representative he is. It is that he stands behind their beliefs in their opinion. Keep up please.

So why dont Evangelical Christians get behind a leader that both stands up for their beliefs AND lives according to their beliefs?

Evangelicals have had numerous opportunities to pick someone else other than Trump to lead them, but they keep going to the same man.

Is it because there are no Republican politicians who stand up for Christian values AND follows them in their persona lives, or what?

That sounds exactly like one of those traditional descriptions of the devil - trade your soul for power.

Matthew 4:1-11

Trump will wind up a subject of sermons.  But not in a good way.

The desire for power "Trumps" their beliefs.

Maybe that leader hasn’t been there. I don’t know. Baffling that Trump is still popular.

Matthew 4:1-11, right?

No it doesn’t and Matthew 4:1-11 is not a description.

Make it easier by improving your writing:

Talk about "keeping up".

Maybe if you actually read some of these articles on the subject, it would be less so.
