I agree. uat is ranked way too high. uat's undefeated season so far is an illusion based on the fact that their defense has won games against teams with crappy offenses (UT, the Mississippi teams, Arky, etc.) Not to worry, though. They won't be #3 after next Saturday and they won't be in the top 10 after Nov 19th. WDE

But they are still 9-0. Yeah, they aren't showing much, but they have shown that the offense is capable (UF game). They are leaning more heavily on their D with Prothro out, but the D is outstanding. It's going to be tough to get past LSU and AU with the way the O is playing, but it's certainly possible. If they do, and they win the SEC Championship game, it's still likely they aren't going to play for the NC becasue the gap is way too big for them at this point. Last year we were talking about hundredths of a point in the BCS where as now it's tenths, a huge margin to make up. Playing LSU and Auburn will help their SOS, but with UT having a losing record and they just don't have a good SOS.

Hopefully this will cause the SEC to get on the push for a playoff or a plus one system at least. Having 2 years in a row with undefeted teams and no BCS Championship bid should be enough fuel for that fire.
