[ummm...you might want to read the post again. By no means did I say everybody that rides does it and I was blaming the rider, not the bike (it is inanimate without the rider).

I think we are on the same page...I am not trying to justify other's stupid actions on sportbikes....our points are the same. In fact those same riders on a cruiser will still do stupid stuff, too...it's not the bike, it's the rider, as you said.

It would be interesting to see stats on accidents and bike type, per capita. I would bet there are twice as many sportbikes sold vs. crusiers and that would account for more accidents.
