Uneffin' real. I can't believe the gall of this administration. I guess if you're spending all of the tax dollars on war, then there is nothing left to spend on American infrastructure. Seems to reason that the Bush administration, "HAS TO EFFIN' GEAUX!"

This is crazy. Underground seems to be the place for those of us who have had enough of this tax later spend now group.

White House slams carpooling, new road fees better

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Carpooling won't do much to reduce U.S. highway congestion in urban areas, and a better solution would be to build new highways and charge drivers fees to use them, the White House said on Monday.

"It is increasingly appropriate to charge drivers for some roadway use in the same way the private market charges for other goods and services," the White House said in its annual report on the U.S. economy.

The road money is being diverted to green ways, mass transit and other feel good crap. If you would get your f'n eviromentalist wakos to back off, maybe would get some roads.
