2018 Former 4* QB Cord Sandberg Commits to Auburn!!!

So can he practice this fall with the team, since he will count towards the 2018 year?

I assume he will be working out, learning the playbook, sitting in on meetings, and getting ready for Spring/2019?

This is good news but it doesn't hurt the sting of losing out on Booth... AT ALL. But getting QB depth is always nice.

What's it like getting a 5* CB? I couldn't tell you. I don't think we have ever done it in my lifetime.

Either way, welcome aboard. WDE

Bigger get than many will appreciate At this time. His maturity will undoubtedly improve the locker room and development of other QB’s. Really excited about his signing!!!

We sure this dude is 23?! I think he is pulling a Danny Almonte on us lol. He looks older than Kodi who is 29/30.

This is an interesting pick up. Not too sure we need another q.b. but I’m excited nonetheless.

What type of impact does this have on Gatewood especially with Bo on the horizon?

Too soon to really tell. May not have an answer to that question til 2019.

He's a true freshman. That means he can practice or even play in 4 games this season & still get a redshirt.

We do if Malik & Joey don't do some development by 2019.

He would do way better at Auburn under Gus’ offense lol

He could beat Stidham out for the job and start all 15 games as he leads us to a 15-0 record and a national championship. All he has to be is good enough! :)

Very good depth pickup.  Might be surprised by this guy.  Could be number 2 by mid season if he learns the play book quickly in fall camp.  Willis passing in A-Day even in the 7v7 was horrible.  Like worse then JF3 horrible

Let's not be ridiculous.  Nothing we have on the team now is that bad

I’m still bitter after watching LCU that he played a quarter and a half of football and we thought “hell yeah this JUCO backup is our guy”

This guy reminds me of a more mobile David Greene. I'll take that any day!

Well, they're both left handed. Beyond that, Cord will have to demonstrate that he can play college football before a serious comparison to David Greene can be made.
