I feel like that might be more names than we're used to seeing. Could be very wrong, though.

If we get Moore & MAR it would equal our most ESPN 300s in a class at 12 with the 2014 & 15 classes.

Just went and looked at that 2015 class. Man, talk about hit or miss and not much in between.

247 is right there too for now.

OP is pretty low on rivals when compared to ESPN. Crazy how different some of these sites are.

Hamm

Manning

McClain

Miller

Sammons

Stove

Thomas

With Thomas, Brown, Coe, Davidson, and Stove as the only contributors...so far.

Yep. And people want to continue on with the “we are talented: we have top ten classes every year” card.

At least we return three DL from that small class that’s left.

Damn! Outside of the DL we basically took the 2016 class off in the end...

Yes. Outside of the OL & RB, getting talent hasn't been the problem. Retaining & developing it has been.

Hopefully, Hamm, Manning, and Sammons will contribute at some point.

Barrett is at Kent State

Character is at Louisville (he left after Muschamp left)

Davis is at FAU; Franklin went there as well but his eligibility is finished

Jackson is at the OSU

Rice is at Jacksonville State, I think. He had an 8-year ban from Auburn after a Title IX investigation

Threat went to JSU as well

I don’t think Broussard or NCM have said where they’re going.

I will say the 2014 and 2015 classes were before Steele's time for those defensive players.  Since Steele's arrival I would say we are retaining and developing talent much better.  Those that leave now are ones that are far behind on the depth chart and never were going to contribute due to who is ahead.  This is to be expected.  Offensively, that can be viewed differently, BUT I was impressed with how many freshmen we rotated in this year.  Due to these rotations, we have ample depth at WR and one could possible say the same about RB if used correctly and we continue off of our baby step this year of using more of a committee approach with a lead back.  Excited to see Joiner and what he can do.
