It's not trolling when I'm interpreting something you say differently than how you mean it.  I get it, you want to be able to have an out for your prediction.

He will not be our day 1 starter. Bo will win that job.  I say that with certainty.  Does it mean it'll happen?  No, but that's what I believe will happen.  I can be wrong, and that's OK

Last year their offense was ranked 35th.  Ours 75th.  So a full magnitude better.

One small point:  TJ  got benched vs Auburn  and I am not sure how much he played off and on during the season.   I know LSU seemed to get things rolling later in the season and I have no idea who was the trigger puller then.  Not sure if TJ contributed a lot to those 312 ypg.   I think TJ only passed for like 900 yds for the year.   I posted that earlier. 

 

TJ's stats worry me a bit:  his TD to INT ratio was 1:1   

I love his confidence and upside of course.   I hope he is patient enough to learn (if he comes to Auburn).  And Auburn needs some depth.

So let's say TJ decides not to come here for whatever reason. I'd assume the staff will pivot to another quarterback in the portal? I feel like they seem pretty determined to bring in another guy, regardless of the debated reasons we have been having on here. I suppose the only question would be if they originally weren't planning on bringing in a guy, but then TJ entered the portal and they decided he was too good to pass up. What do you guys think?

Yeah, Harsin definitely has leaned on RB1 quite a bit. Even more than Gus. Tank will eat. But that might be at least somewhat a function of him not typically having more than one really great RB at Boise and them not playing against 260 lb LBs and 345 DLs that all run sub-5.0 40s.
