Apparently, LaDarius Owens was at UAB today with Nick.  I read that he and Nick were "very close" according to Ted Roof.  They were teammates at Jess Lanier HS. 

I read that too. I feel for all of those affected by this life lost.

this is the definition of tragic.  Cancer is only becoming more and more prevalent.

I could be wrong, but I though he had an inoperable brain tumor and it metastasized.

I thought that I had read it was a skin cancer with Mets.

OK, I looked it up.  Synovial sarcoma.
