I think if Malzahn has more in the playbook like he supposedly does, then LSU's vaunted secondary is gonna be in for a long day. Auburn might use a ton of 3 WR 1 TE/4 WR sets because if those 2 CBs are gonna be covering Williams/Coates 1 on 1, there is gonna be open matchups.

I give you kudos for piling up junk yardage and losing to MSU. Congrats.

We had a hail mary pass at the end of the game that went into the endzone and if caught would have won it for us. That's not junk yardage. That is a comeback with a chance at victory.

"chance at victory"??? Why if LSU wins with a hail mary it is a "comeback victory" but if Auburn did the same thing it would be Luck?

You said yourself that Auburn was "lucky" to beat Kansas St. Your logic baffles me.

LSU loses to MSU but they are good because they managed a "comeback".

Auburn causes KST to try 3 field goals and win because they are "lucky".

"Then again you guys had 2 of the luckiest/flukiest wins I have ever seen last season, so your logic would be faulty."

We had 2 lucky wins while LSU had 2 close losses against UGA and Ole Miss. I see your logic here...

We would have been lucky to beat Miss St with the way we played for 3 quarters. I never said anything about our losses to UGA and Ole Miss. Stop putting words in my mouth.

I always laugh at the "Miles is 7-2 vs Auburn so he MUST have their number" argument, because it conveniently ignores that two of the wins were just ridiculous.

In 2005, we missed 5 field goals and lost in overtime in a game that Auburn statistically dominated.

In 2007, it took a last gasp pass with :01 to win.

Now believe me, Auburn people understand the value of :01, but let's not pretend that Miles has dominated Auburn on the field every time out in those wins. He could just as easily be 5-4, or worse. Let's not forget he needed last gasp drives to beat AU's two worst teams since 2000 (looking at you 2008 & 2012).

You also can't ignore the fact that 06 had some of the worst officiating ever seen in a football game. The record could easily be 8-1. It goes both ways.

Remember, guys- the other 37 points against UGA were all blind luck, just like the 28 points in the first 59:59 of the UAT game. Just like calling timeout when the other team lines up for a last second 57 yard field goal when it becomes apparent that they are actually going to attempt the kick so you can put your fastest player in to return it. In the eyes of those fans of programs who play American football, we simply cannot beat them unless the stars align.

A hail mary which is tipped by 2 uga defenders going to an Auburn receiver for a score is luck. A 109 field goal return for a td is pretty fluky.

Hey we had the bluegrass miracle years ago which was lucky. No shame in it.

I just don't see your point right now. You want Auburn fans on an Auburn board to feel like we will lose to you guys and you haven't even looked good this year....I mean I know you didn't think you'd write ten reasons why'd we lose and not think people would have anything to say back.....that's the definition of trolling isn't it?

Are you sure you're not a Bama fan!? You sure are good at only reading/hearing what you want to and completely ignoring everything else.

Was the tipped ball against UGA luck? Sure it was, but it was also luck that Murray was ruled to have scored the TD to put them ahead.

You call Davis' field goal return TD fluky but I'm willing to bet that you thought Leslie was a genius when Odell Beckham returned a missed field goal 109 yards in September 2013.

BTW, here's another realization for you...your team's colors are purple and gold YELLOW....morons

Color smack. Oh no, you got me. Hard hitting stuff.

It was smart for both Malzahn and Miles to put fast guys back there to return a kick. Ours was against North Texas when we were up big. Yours was against Bama. Both are fluky plays.

Your schtick has grown tiresome. Why should we be ashamed again, or not ashamed? When LSU isn't playing violent felons (misdemeanor :-\), and isn't actively recruiting someone accused of Domestic Violence THEN you can broach that subject. (NO we haven't recruited Taylor, he mentioned us.)

BTW, I never said all your WR were True FR, just that including Harris, you guys are riding 3-4 of them in this game. I hope you enjoyed the last few days, I wonder how much we see of you post game...

As far as you're hard hitting stuff, I do remember some ridiculous coonass pointing out a run on sentence!? I guess just like your football "savvy", your grammar is biased as well.

You were told that while being a homer for your team was not a problem, being disrespectful about Auburn or its people would be. You got a verbal warning earlier. You now can enjoy 24 hours off to figure out how not to be a total douche when you're a guest on someone else's board. If you return and start again, the ban will be permanent.

Don't base a special season on a win over this LSU team. Granted, LSU is always a tall hurdle as they are a very tough, physical team each year and we do need to beat them. But I don't think this year's LSU team is as good as several in the recent past. This is just one of the many hurdles for the year and I think we will face teams tougher than this one. I just hope out Tigers remain focused on this one and execute the game plan. If we execute the plays, we win walking away.

I don't think the media is really giving any respect to either team. I think whichever team shows up, they better SHOW UP in a big way. Especially after Miss. St. thrashed them in the bayou, a close win at home might not make a big splash with voters or the CFP committee. It'll be a marquee win, no doubt, but still not a mood swinger.

I will be here if I am not banned. I don't think you guys are the ones to speak about ethics and morals when you paid Cam $180k.

You did some hard research to come up with that item. The 180K was discussed at Mississippi State. The same school who you lost too while maybe 8000 tearing LSU fans sat in amazing wonder at an interception to end the game. More mustard, this corn dog is bland. :poke:

Fans from rival schools are welcome. Rational discussions and even some poking fun and at little trash talking are cool too. Children who come here to instigate and act like, well children, are another story.

The Hail Mary was luck, and I tacitly admitted as much by making reference instead to the other 37 we put up against UGA. The kick six, however, was pure strategery. The fact that such a phenomenon happens rarely doesn't make it a fluke.
