almost never. But then again, he admitted he was not a journalist. He is a partner in a website.

I kind of feel bad for the guy. It seems like he just wanted to be the first to get the scoop so bad that he didn't use his common sense and double check the story. Oh well. I imagine he won't be so quick on the draw next time he gets news from his sources.

I don't feel bad for him. I didn't know he wasn't a real journalist until he stated such in the apology article. That in itself should be more reason that he should confirm his information or at least state he isn't a real sports journalist below his articles as what they do with many journalist which gives them some kind of credibility.
