We just can't put together two halves. Had a 16 point lead at halftime and almost blew it. But a win is a win. Exciting game but the arena was only half full on a cold windy night.

Very good win, considering all that's happened. Hope we get Harris back soon and that Lang is ok.

It's easy (for me) to look at that finish and say AU didn't finish well, because they didn't. They all know that. BUT, UGA was hitting some huge threes that they weren't earlier in the game. A couple were rediculous. A couple were uncontested though and AU can't allow those. Also, rebounding took a back seat the last 5 min, as did the common sense not to foul but to play solid defense. Instead they got lax on the defensive end and in their lackadaisicalness (its a word... maybe) caused them to foul more than defend. It was frustrating to watch all the mental errors.

However, AU hit their free throws and had pushed the game to just out of UGA's reach with a team that frankly, isn't all that good on paper. What a huge difference Dunans has made and what a turnaround the team has made since that guy (forgot his name.... ) was dismissed. I didn't really think we'd have fun basketball to watch again this year, but that's not the case right now. Now the rest of the schedule (@ uat, vs. aTm, and @MSU) looks like blowouts on paper, but hopefully they will find a way to make games out of them going into the SEC tournament. What Bruce has had to overcome to win any games the last few weeks is remarkable. Help is on the way, and the possibilities are really good as long as Bruce sticks around.

Giving our defense a little cover but Uga had two very quick guys who hit some crazy shots ...hard to cover both when we did not have anyone who could stay with them...or beat them down court...much more speed than AU.
