He's a mod who dishes it out and can take it, too. But he does it all with a (strange) sense of humor. I'm hoping that sort of wisdom comes with age. Even price and Hamm. Hamm ended up signing with is and apparently we're still looking at price but it was still we didn't want him anyway... We were leading when we dropped on Price for a while so that's not a didn't want him anyway sour grapes sitch. Same with Rochester and Joejuan Williams. We were leading when Boom was hired but backed off both when Boom arrived. Not saying we would have landed them in the end if we had stayed on them, just pointing out we were leading when the coaching change happened. Hamm tried to commit to AU 2 times before he committed to UT. We were not ready to take him. Not sure what made us ready but when we were Hamm flipped immediately. I made it as simple and as clear as I could. As for the other threads did any of those beliefs come from anyone with recruiting connections? I doubt it. So fans sour grapes is irrelevant. As far as the recruiting connection thing, we've already discussed that. I don't look at those situations the same way you do. I take people for their word and then apply logic to it as well. I didn't agree with the coaches but that was more an emotional thing then my great eye (sarcasm) for talent. I will be praying for his recovery and I wish him well in the future.
