Coach Steele talks a lot about not letting an offense take the top off of a defense. Apparently, that's not something our offense is capable of doing.

I thought the same thing last week. Kap running gimpy plays right into the defenses hands. They won't have to respect the fact that the RB can blow right by them.because he cannot. He can't even when he's healthy but at least then he's an agile bruiser .

Against Mercer, we should be able to rest Pettway and not miss a beat. Kam and Malik should be able to handle the RB duties.
